Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) in a Nutshell

The good news is that evidence clearly shows that agile methods deliver superior results compared to traditional approaches and that the majority of organizations are either using agile techniques or plan to in the near future. The bad news is that the mainstream agile methods – including Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Agile Modeling (AM) – each provide only a part of the overall picture for IT solution delivery.

Come hear about the realities of agile development in enterprise environments and how IBM’s Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) process framework takes mainstream agile methods to the next level. We show how DAD pulls together common practices and strategies from these methods, and more, to address the full delivery lifecycle from project initiation to releasing the solution into production. The DAD process framework provides a strong foundation from which to successfully address the challenges of Agility@Scale.
